After approximately $2 million worth of renovations Port Elgin’s Peninsula Ford held its grand opening July 21, opening the doors to local dignitaries, media and members of the public, where classic Fords of yesteryear and the new stock of today, were showcased.

General Manager Ryan Carson was proud of the refurbished look. He said that Saugeen Shores is a great market and has a strong community base. He also noted that the Ford F-150 is Peninsula Ford’s best seller and with the current “Employee Pricing” promotion, Carson said “you pay what we pay”.

A $100 gas card was also up for grabs during the celebration, while the Southampton Rotary Club raised funds for the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation through a barbecue.DSCF9155 car 560
